HR Systems & Data Analytics Specialist

?? East Valley - Phoenix, AZ (In-Office Role)

Job Summary

We are seeking an HR Systems & Data Analytics Specialist to support, enhance, and optimize our HR technology ecosystem. This role serves as the primary Paylocity expert, responsible for system administration, reporting, dashboards, data analytics, troubleshooting, and end-user training. The ideal candidate combines strong HRIS skills with analytical expertise and a passion for improving processes and employee experience.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in the East Valley (Phoenix, AZ).


Key Responsibilities

Paylocity System Administration

  • Build, automate, and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting across all HR functions
  • Manage system configurations, workflows, and data integrity
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to employees and managers in the U.S., EU, and Mexico
  • Serve as the main point of contact with Paylocity Customer Support

Training & Support

  • Create user-friendly training materials, job aids, and reference guides
  • Deliver live and virtual training sessions for employees, managers, and HR teams
  • Communicate technical information in a clear, easy-to-understand way

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Support reporting needs across recruitment, retention, engagement, benefits, and workforce planning
  • Conduct routine data audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance
  • Present insights and recommendations to HR leadership

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to improve system functionality and reporting
  • Support annual HR programs (performance, compensation, benefits, etc.)
  • Recommend and implement process improvements and automation opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HRIS or HR data analytics experience
  • Hands-on experience with multiple Paylocity modules (Recruiting, Time & Labor, Benefits, Learning, Performance, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building dashboards and KPI reports
  • Ability to provide Tier 1/Tier 2 technical support
  • Experience developing and delivering training
  • Ability to support teams across multiple time zones
  • Proficiency in Excel and/or Power BI
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Spanish language proficiency (verbal and written)
  • Experience with workforce analytics and visualization tools
  • HR or HRIS certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar)
